Situation

SYM was a fintech startup founded by me and two partners to provide young investors with transparent, performance-driven portfolio management. At the time, many small investors lacked access to structured trading strategies and trustworthy fund management.

Task

My role was twofold: build SYM’s digital presence and brand credibility, and actively manage client funds by trading with disciplined, research-backed strategies.

Approach

Collaborated with my co-founders to design and refine collective technical analysis strategies (using chart patterns, indicators, and market trends).
Actively traded in client accounts, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term portfolio growth.
Monitored risk, diversification, and performance through regular reporting to maintain client trust.
Simultaneously led SYM’s marketing and operations building the website, running social media campaigns, and creating client acquisition funnels.

Results

Successfully scaled to ₹1 crore+ in Assets Under Management (AUM).
Generated consistent portfolio growth for 3+ recurring clients through disciplined trading and transparent reporting.
Established a strong reputation in our investor community by combining digital-first branding with proven market performance.
Built the foundation for SYM as a trusted fintech startup, driven by data, teamwork, and innovation.
